Your first step into aviation
A Discovery Flight is more than a scenic ride. You'll spend time with a Certified Flight Instructor learning about the aircraft, preparing for the flight, and experiencing the fundamentals of flying.
Your instructor will guide you through the experience from the ground to the air, explaining the aircraft and introducing you to the basic principles of flight. When conditions and circumstances permit, you'll have the opportunity to take the controls and experience the aircraft under the supervision of your instructor.

Preflight orientation
An introduction to the aircraft, cockpit, flight instruments, controls, and basic aircraft systems.

Learn how pilots prepare an aircraft for flight and why a thorough preflight inspection matters.

Fly with a Certified Flight Instructor who guides you through the fundamentals and answers your questions throughout.

Experience the aircraft from the pilot's seat and, when appropriate, assist with basic flight controls and maneuvers under supervision.
