Flight Review
Flight Training Program FAA Part 61 · 91.409

Stay current. Stay proficient. Fly with confidence.

A Flight Review is a chance to evaluate your flying skills, refresh your knowledge, and maintain the proficiency required to operate safely as a pilot.

We build every review around your individual experience, aircraft, and flying habits, using it as an opportunity to strengthen the skills you use in everyday flying rather than simply checking a box.

What is a flight review?

Under FAA regulations, pilots generally must complete a Flight Review every 24 calendar months to act as pilot in command, unless an applicable exception applies.

  • 01At least one hour of ground instruction
  • 02At least one hour of flight instruction
  • 03A review of applicable operating and flight rules
  • 04Demonstration of safe and satisfactory pilot performance

The review is conducted with a Certified Flight Instructor and is intended to ensure that the pilot can safely exercise the privileges of their certificate.

A review built around your flying.

Every pilot has different experience, habits, and areas that may benefit from additional attention. Before your Flight Review, your instructor will discuss your recent flying experience, aircraft familiarity, and individual goals.

The review is then structured around the areas that are most relevant to you.

Returning to flying?

Come back prepared and confident.

If you've been away from flying for an extended period, your Flight Review can be structured as a proficiency refresher rather than simply focusing on the minimum regulatory requirements.

Additional training may be appropriate depending on how long you've been away from the aircraft and how comfortable you are with its systems and operation. The objective is to help you return to the cockpit prepared and confident in your abilities.

Ready for your Flight Review?

Whether you fly regularly or have been away from the cockpit for a while, we'll tailor the review to your needs. Contact us to schedule your Flight Review.
